This year has brought an end to the multiyear bull market which has been replaced with high levels of volatility. The soaring inflation accompanied by a more aggressive Fed policy rate path has contributed to the rout in both stock and bond markets. This makes 1H2022’s solid inflows into exchange-traded funds (ETFs) all the more remarkable, once again highlighting the fact that ETFs have become investing’s Swiss Army knife. According to the FactSet, 2022 inflows are on track to exceed all annual inflows records, with the exception of 2021. What can we expect for the sector going forward? What ETF products can investors use to address inflation and the rising interest rates? What does active really mean in ETFs?

To guide us through the ever-evolving ETF landscape and the pivotal trends investors should watch in 2022 and beyond, we are fortunate to have a truly star-studded panel.
