Steven N. Stein is a Co-Founder and the Chief Executive Officer of FSI Group, LLC, where he serves as co-portfolio manager of FSI’s flagship long/short equity hedge fund. During his career he has served as a director of several banks and financial services companies. Prior to founding FSI, Mr. Stein was a founder and President of the Belvedere Corporation, a developer and manager of commercial real estate properties and hotels. Prior to Belvedere, Mr. Stein was a Partner at Taft, Stettinius & Hollister LLP, an Ohio-based law firm. Mr. Stein received a J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 1978 and a B.A. in mathematics, summa cum laude, from Williams College in 1975.
