Matthew Nigrelli

Matthew Nigrelli has nearly 15 years of experience in finance. He currently works in USAID's Private Sector Engagement Hub as an investment officer also serving as the Agency's industry liaison for Private Equity and Venture Capital and as the senior activity manager for the INVEST mechanism. Prior to joining the USAID, Matt worked as an investment officer in the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) Private Equity program specializing in manager selection and portfolio management. Prior to that experience, Matt consulted and audited US based credit unions for the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). His interest in international development began early in his career during his time serving as a small business development specialist with the Peace Corps in Paraguay. Matt received his B.A. from Florida State University and his MBA from the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management. He is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA)
